  • Sliding Table for the 3650?

I would like to add a sliding table to my 3650. I have narrowed it down to either the Rockler\Mulecab or the Delta sliding tables. I can get the Rockler\Mule cab sliding table for $290.00 or the Delta for $325.00 The Delta looks like the better deal but has anyone successfully mounted this table on the Ridgid 3650? I know the Rockler\Mulecab sliding table can be mounted to the 3650, but the Delta is only $35.00 more and seems like a better table. Any ideas? Thanks for any help.

I just installed the Mule Cab sliding table on my ts3650. I have not used it yet but tomorrow I will. Installation went ok. First thing was to slide front and back rails over, easy. Then remove left side table wing. The main mounting brackets sloted holes did not line up with the holes in the table saw so I had to do some creative drilling to get it attached. Had to drill 2 more holes in the legs for the support bars.Getting the sliding table level took a while, the fence seems ok, the table slides pretty smooth and I can't wait to cut something.
I'll post my results of the first test cuts, hope it works. I think it will work great.

Well I got to try the sliding table tonight. It really did work quite well. Once you get the sliding table level and even with the cast iron top, and then you make the rails parallel to the miter slot you really are good to go. I was affraid the whole set up would be cheap and flimsy, but this is not the case. Once you have it set it really is solid and substantial, and it does glide pretty smooth. At least for now I would recomend it for sure. If anything wierd happens I'll let everyone know.
