  • What’s a good tenoning jig??

    Hello
I’m new to the form, I have been looking for a good tenoning jig to fit my ridgid table saw. Can anyone send me in the Wright direction? I have looked at the Delta 34-183.
    Thanks
    Jerry

Do a search in the archives here for details on getting ether a Delta or Jet tennoning jig to fit the Ridgid. Slight modifacation is necessary as the Ridgid miter slots are a fraction smaller than other table saws. It's worth the bit of work---either jig is a good, solid tool, making tennoning a potentially very safe operation.

Being a cheapskate, I built one for my 3612 using scrap lumber. I feel safe using it (and do a lot), but a previous discussion on this site expressed safety concern. For pictures and instructions see
