  • Router Table for my Ridgid Router

I just purchased a Ridgid Router to detail the edgs of some bamboo flooring. I am planning on using the extra planks to make matching bamboo base. The plan is to rout the toungue to a top edge detail. will my router atttach to any router table?
What should I finish the edge of the bamboo with?
Do I need to use a table? I will will be makeing 80' of base.

I would think it would attach to any decent table. And yes a table will be a huge time saver, otherwise you'll have to clamp down every piece individually.

Most, but not all, router tables come with blank inserts. You'll need to drill out the mounting holes in the insert to accommodate your Ridgid router.

The router has the same bolt pattern as the Porter Cable 690 series. So any that will accept the 690, the Ridgid will bolt right in. You will however have to drill a hole to use the lift from the top.
