I think they got a little off track. The post started out about a RIDGID sander but I think it turned into a group rant about Ryobi. They kept talking about "cheap" tools and RIDGID tools certainly aren't cheap.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the "John" and renamed it the "Jim". I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
The sign at the shop did say won't fix Ridgid or Ryobi tools though. Im' a ridgid neutral person here. Since new tool purchasers like to come here for purchasing decision, I try to keep things as informative as possible. Pro or con.
As for Ryobi, I agree, they are a cheaper quality many times disposable tool versus Ridgid.
