• Jointer help - snapping sound

Hi everyone. I've only used my JP610 a few times, jointing some shop pine. Recently while pushing boards thru the jointer I will hear snapping sounds. More specifically, it sounds like a piece of wood hitting against a metal surface. While jointing, I think the board is being lifted by the blades and slammed back down against the metal table. Does anyone know what's really causing this???... Am I pushing the board to fast, are my blades already dull, am I not putting enough pressure against the board???......
    Thanks,
Erwin
\"It\'s all in the grain.....\"
