  • Reconditioned Stanley Planes

Does anyone know of a good dependable source for older model reconditioned Stanley planes? I'm looking for a 4 1/2 and a jointer plane

Ebay might be a possibility if you're a gambling type of guy.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the "John" and renamed it the "Jim". I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

post that same question here Woodnet Handtools Forum
And you will hear from a few guys that may have one for sale fully restored and tuned. A few names are Rarebear His Site , Walter, Frigator, Cain, and more.

There is a guy known as "rarebear" on the Woodnet Hand Tools Forum who is highly regarded for his reconditioned planes. Definately worth checking out.
