What would you folks recommend as the best glue to use when gluing up red oak boards together...and poplar.....going to buy and use pony pipe clamps as those seem to be the most recommended for gluing up boards...was told at the kiln that "tite Bond" is probably the best...agree?...disagree? Goldenwing,

I am no expert, but I needed the same advice about 2 weeks ago with my red oak. After reading some articles and talking to the guys at Rocklers, I went with the Titebond II. So far so good, but I think that time will be the true test.

    Hope this helps,
    Swede

I have had good results with TBII as will. Also will find Gorilla Glue works well but is messy to clean up.
