  • 4511 trunion adjustment??

I'm aligning my table top again after the arbor was replaced - whole 'nother story - and am facing a little problem that I have actually had all along, but figure now may the time to deal with it.

I can barely align the miter slots to the blade. When I rotate the top clockwise as far as it will go, I am still off by 1 or 2 thousanths. Probably good enough. But I'm wondering if I can adust the trunions a little bit counter clockwise, so the blade will then be in the middle of the range that I can rotate the table?

    Anyone done this?

    Thanks,

    Joel

As the trunion bolts to the saw chassis, yes it can be moved if needed. (I believe there was a previous post with the same issue, the OP solved his problem by moving the trunion)
