  • Mortise and tenon methods(aides)

Does anyone have a simple way or aide in producing mortise and tenon joints using nothing but a hand held drill or table saw?

You can cuy the tenons on a table saw with a dado blade or a regular blade if you have the patience.
You can drill out for a mortise if you are good with a hand drill than square up with a chisel.

See the easy-to-make tenon jig that I use on my table saw at www.plesums.com/wood/tips/tenonjig.html

No easy answer for the mortises, but I compared the options at

Bottom line - I tried all the tricks without spending money, except for the bandaids for the blisters on my hands. Eventually I bought a drill press with mortise kit.
