  • Can you adhere wood baseboard to tile wall?

My bathroom is tiled to within a 1/4 inch of the floating wood floor. Now I need to cover the gap and I want to use a wood baseboard. Is it possible to adhere the wood baseboard to the tile. I could find the stud (in back of the tile and backer board) at the very bottom of the baseboard in some places but the baseboard would not sit flush with the tile wall. So can I glue it on? Thank you in advance.

      Hi John,

I have never done it, but there is an adhesive for most everything. "Liquid Nails" has several different products for use in construction. Check their website ( http://www.liquidnails.com/products/index.jsp ) or at your local Home Depot of Lowel's.

I'm sure there are other brands that offer adhesive products and perhaps some of the forum members who are in the trades may have some experience with this.

      I hope this helps,

      CWS

Along with what CW said, I have done it with Loctite Power grab.
