Does anyone know if Ridgid typically has a booth at woodworking shows? I'm in the market for a thickness planer and DeWalt, Jet and Delta will be at a show coming up in Seattle. If Ridgid had a boothe there it would make it pretty easy to compare all 4 machines.

I've been actively shoping for a new planer. The Ridgid TP1300 is consistantly at the top of the charts. Cutterhead lockdown, along with proper table adjustment, as explained in the manual, reduces snipe to a tolerable level. Also, the weight (84 lbs) helps keeps vibration down.

They were'nt at the show in Birmingham, Al this past weekend (sniff).

It was a good show. The first one I've been to. I will have to try and make the Atlanta show next spring.
