    Wondered if I could get some opinions on what band saw blades you guys prefer for resawing hard maple...

    I like the Wood Slicer resaw blade from Highland Woodworking.
    Haven't resawed any hard maple, but I have done plenty of
    cumaru (Brazilian teak) and ebony, both very dense.
    I find that their blade leaves very little saw marks and it
    only takes a pass or two through the thickness planer
    to finish it.

      Laguna Tools Resaw King. I managed to eliminate blade drift, cuts are square even when I use the miter gauge.

      I added a riser block for resawing but .75 Horsepower is not enough power to get the job done.

        those are two good blade providers. lennox blades are also very good, and i would contact iturra design. lou iturra really knows how to weld BS blades. he can be reached @:
