  • TS 3650 bevel lock lever

    I recently acquired a TS 3650 -- what does the bevel lock lever do- when to use it--how to use it---the operator's manual is vague---i have had a tablesaw for 35 years and have never seen a bevel lock lever before--

    Let's say you need make a bevel cut at 22.5°. while the saw is operating, vibration and even some wood's grain might cause the bevel to slip a bit. what started out at 22.5° could end at 23° by the time you finish pushing the stock through. At worst, the stock could bind with the blade and create a hair raising situation. Locking the bevel in place will prevent the setting from moving on you during the cut.
