  • Ridgid AC1036 Fence System

I have ordered the AC1036 Fence System from HD to install on my 20 yr old Craftsman contractor saw (model 298032, I think). I am tickled to death to upgrade my saw at an affordable price. I'd like to know if anyone out there has tips that would be helpful for fence system installation.

    Thanks in advance,
    Andy

    Andy Haney,
First of all may I say welcome to the forum...

Next, I would recommend downloading the manual from http://www.ridgidparts.com/pdf/AC1036.pdf and read it through before you ever get the fence to install... This will help you out a bit... Otherwise it is pretty straight forward...

If you have any other questions while installing it, feel free to ask away... There will be tons of good help on this siteā€¦

Here are a few pictures of my fence that may help you with a visual:

        TITLEST,
I simply lossened the rails on my saw and slid them down to the right and retightened the fasteners... I am using the original fence rails that came with my TS2424LS... Someday I will put an INCRA fence on and then will likely sell the original rails or just store them away...
