  • Forestner bit help

I am currently drilling 100, 3" in diameter holes daily at work and am finding even with a lower rpm and a higher end bit that the forestner bits are getting stuck to the pressure treated no 1 spruce. Does anyone know of any trademark tips or tricks that I could to the bit to speed up the job and stop this annoying problem.
Thanks for your attention and time

Lee Valley has some nice HSS saw tooth 3" bits

You could spray the bits with Dricote

Try applying "beeswax", the natural stuff, to the bits when NOT running. I believe the PT materials are your problem, not the wood itself. David
