so enjoy, you've already paid for it. Most are somewhat dated (look to
be 60s and 70s era), but hey, what do ya want for free?

many are USDA publications, and some are Mid West Plan service, and pre internet, one had to buy or pay the cost of printing on the plans, many of these have been developed by land grant collages, as well,

I may actually build that picnic table when I get time. I will definitely pass on the manure loading platform. I got paid to shovel manure when I was a kid growing up out in the country. That is the heaviest stuff in the world to shovel, not to mention the smelliest!

I love the North Dakota State University Ag Engineering link. In the miscellaneous section they have some neat stuff. Plans for building your own table saw from 1932! Plans for building a work bench from 1937!

Pretty neat. I suspect these are all plans students put together as part of their training. NDSU is a land grant university. Land Grant universities were developed in the late 1800's to help support farmers... ie. develop good wheat seeds, define good agricultural practices, how to build barns, etc.

Local county extension agents were middlemen between the universities and farmers. Once upon a time the university system was not about bowl games and march madness :-)
