    I emailed Bob Dueker, asking him to come out and tell us what is going on at Ridgid. We are the loyal customer.

    Bob Dueker's reply:

    I'm sorry, but all I can tell you now is what I posted on the web site.
    However, I can assure you that Ridgid is valuable asset to Emerson Electric
    and the quality of the products will be unaffected. Thanks!

    Sure hope he is right. I would be surprised if Ridgid put its name on second rate equipment.

    Thanks for the info.
    I have the same feelings, that Ridgid's strict quality will be maintained.
    I'm sure there is a stipulation as well with Ryobi, or whom ever makes the machines, they are responsable for warrenty parts in full or part. This I'm sure is incentive for better quality than lesser priced merchandise the company manufactures with "out the door" warrenties.
