Where do I start troubleshooting this issue? Should I turn the TS3650 upside down to check it out? The lock/unlock handle appears to be OK, but the wheel does not seem to be attached to anything.
i would look up into the bottom of the saw and check where the threaded tilt rod (part 18) intersects with the cradle assembly (part 38). that's assuming the the tilt handwheel assembly is firmly attached to the end of the threaded tilt rod that protrudes from the right side of the saw(when standing in the operating position). pics of this portion of the saw would be helpful.
there's a solution to every problem.....you just have to be willing to find it.
