Well Jake, Do we all need to contact Rigid about this, or is there a cut off date as to when the TP1300 was made?

      Kris,

We did change the feed rollers on our thickness planer. The older rollers were a white rubber while the new rollers are a black rubber compound. The traction of both types of rollers is comparable, but we had problems with the white rollers coming apart in chunks. If the model number of your planer is TP13000 you have the white rollers, if it is TP13001 or later, you have the black rollers. If you have the white rollers, I would suggest running them until you have a problem, then calling 800-4RIDGID for replacements, rather then go through the trouble now.

      Keystone,

Thanks for the link; I passed it on to our CS people.
