I just bought the TS 2424 about a month ago and have had the belt slip off the pulley a couple of times. I have readjusted this twice now. I think I have followed what the manual says to do. Any suggestions?
Sounds like maybe your pulleys are not in the same plane. They are held to the shafts as I recall by allen screws. You have some latitude in shifting the pulleys to get them in better alignment. Hope this makes sense.
Another possibility is that you may have to shim the motor mount by placing some washers (or similar) between the motor and the mounting bracket on just one side to square up the motor shaft to the arbor.
All of this is a lot harder to write than to do . On my saw (2424) I did both these operations. Let us know if this works.
