  • Need help finding some cabinet hardware

Hey guys, I need your help here. I looking for some cabinet hardware and I can't seem to locate any. I'm looking for soom Japanese/Asian influenced hardware. In paticular the style with the large round hinge plates and large round latch plates. I'm not sure if you know what I mean, but if you've ever seen any contemporay asian wardrobes you know what I'm talking about. Ive checked places sure as Rockler and Woodcraft, but no dice. Any ideas?

Jake--I'd second Lee Valley---not only for selection, but that their prices seem very reasonable.

No I didn't really, some of the links you guys offered were great, but most of them were antique oriental, not contemporay. I think I have figured out what I am going to do. The look I am going for is a large round plate at each hinge and a larger round center plate for the pulls. I am going to use euro-hinges and make a set of round plates out of stainless steel. I will just "glue" these to my cabinet face for a faux look.

Jake sorry for the rather late response, no time for this web stuff for the last couple of weeks. Try www.spokanehardware.com, if that dosen't work drop me a line and I'll get all the info for you. The web site is a little iffy, they do not have everything on it they only hi-lite the stuff that seems to move on the web sales. Contact them through the 800 number and they should be able to help. Again if this dosen't work let me know I have a contact there and we'll go to him and see if he can help in anyway.
