I used to have a table saw with a sliding table.
I now have a R4511 without one and I was looking at installing one.
May I ask you how much you paid for it?
Why did you chose this brand of sliding table?
I paid $499.00 at Woodcraft. That was on sale, regular price was $599.00. I didn't find a lot of choice in sliding tables. By the way that was more than I paid for the saw. I am planning some projects with bamboo plywood that is how I justified it to my wife.
My first and only (so far) table saw is a Ryobi BT3100, and I purposely bought it for it's sliding miter table feature. While the Jessum has a hefty price tag, I am sure it is worth it. If you're going to do any amount of cross-cutting on a table saw, the SMT is a feature that I would definitely want of have, at least in one form or another.
