  • Titebond Date Code Change

It appears that Titebond has changed the way that they code the manufacture date on their containers. http://www.forums.woodnet.net/ubbthr...apsed&sb=5&o=7

    Re: Titebond Date Code Change

    Thanks Dave, good to know.

So the A means the product is made in America. Somebody better call Franklin and tell them are going against the grain. Making stuff in America when they could be exporting those jobs overseas...what are they thinking?

I don't know what it is but it means I will be sure to continue buying their glues over others. I am in favor of supporting businesses that employ Americans.
"When we build let us think we build forever. Let it not be for present delight nor for present use alone. Let it be such work that our descendants will thank us for, and let us think, as we lay stone upon stone, that a time is to come when these stones will be held sacred because our hands have touched them, and that men will say, as they look upon the labor and wrought substance of them, "See! This our fathers did for us."
    John Ruskin (1819 - 1900)

      Thanks BD,

Good info to know. I'm a dedicated TB2 user and it's getting time to buy a new bottle. Now I'll know what the date code means!

      Thanks again,
