  • Table Saw Workstation

    Hello all,

I have the 3660 TS. I love it and want to build a table saw workstation for it with router table attached. I saw a thread on here with a last posting of early 2009. Is that workstation still pretty much the standard? Are there any others that work well with the 3660? Just wanted to make sure I was working off of the latest and greatest best practices plan before I start. I'd like to add an outfeed table as well.

    Thanks

    Tom,

The best "plans" are the ones that work for your specific needs. Example, my outfeed table is 5' x 7' and stores wood below and butts up to the garage door due to space. I pour over over plans for the "concept" but modify to what suits me best, its like monster garage almost. its fun.

anyway, try this i did. make a list of what you need on a specific "tool" accessory like your outfeed, or rolling cart, etc, pick the plans, or the images of that item and pour over them, modify them little by little, draw up some plans, do it again, measure, do a mockup thats oversized and then you'll end up with a end result thats suited for you that you will be very happy with.

Im working on a rolling cart based off of a mix of 4 different projects from ShopNotes, a wood Magaizine project, and my own needs. Its actually turning out 10 times better than expected, and I am finding that if I followed the plans for just the Shopnotes cart, it wouldnt do what I needed, just what they needed.
