Basically I am building a router table from some plans I got out of a book. The plans call for a 48" miter slide track and a 48" t-track. My question was what is the difference between the two pieces of equipment? wouln't most miter gauges slide in a t-track?

I believe a miter track is 3/4" wide and a T track is narrower and meant to use with hold-downs utilizing a 'T' shaped screw head

I use Incra track for most things because it is pretty cheap and iuses standard 1/4-20 bolt heads. the Rockler track uses toilet type bolts which are more expensive, harder to find, and not available in the lengths like standard bolts.
