  • Remembering John Lucas

Some of you may have visited John's web site woodshopdemos.com in the past.
Today, Feb 22, 2010 John passed away but his wife has kept this site up and
available for viewing though no new content is added of course.

John wrote some nice reviews of dozens of tools. Take a minute and visit his
site when you have time. I never met him but we conversed a couple times
    years ago on various subjects.

A CD with his entire site saved as PDFs is available from the web site and
    from Woodcraft.

I remember John but didn't realize he has been gone that long. His claim to fame will always be his incredible woodworking talent and his unselfish willingness to share his knowledge with others. His many shop assistants weren't all that hard on the eyes either.

Has it really been five years? John was a man with a great passion for woodworking. As BadgerDave has said "His many shop assistants weren't all that hard on the eyes either".

Update 4-20-2021: For some reason I was thinking of John Lucas yesterday and I thought I would see if his legacy site was still up.

But apparently it is gone. Probably can find it in the internet archive though.
