  • Simple But Sturdy Sawhorses

Matt Jackson of Next Level Carpentry put together a nice video showing how he made a pair of sawhorses.
Watch to the end where he puts them to the test. I was surprised at how much weight they held.

I have used and even have a few sets that were built like that, and have been very good saw horses, (but I have gone to flooding horses, for the most part, easier to transport,

I build that same design without all the fancy miters and notches. Assemble with my framing nailer or 3" deck screws. Never tried that much weight.

That's really awesome! Simple to make and very durable: ended test is amazing! I think, I will do the same.
