Incra MiterExpress

I've been cleaning out the garage and came across a Incra MiterExpress that I used on my TS-3650. The miter slots in my Unisaw are different distance from the blade and once you cut the base to your saw it's tough to use it on another saw. I don't believe it is possible to adjust it to another saw but I may be wrong. Anyway, I have not used this in 10 years because it was December 2010 when I bought my Unisaw and sold the TS-3650. I think I got it for a birthday gift in October 2010 and it didn't get much use at all before the TS-3650 was gone 2 months later so it's in like new condition. Works with any miter gauge, you don't have to use a Incra miter gauge.

Got me thinking does anyone really use these anymore? I guess some people prefer them over a sled.

I guess I will sell it on CL or FB Marketplace and hopefully find someone close by with a TS-3650 that wants it. If not I guess I will put it on eBay. It's not terribly heavy but I don't think it will break down to where it would fit in a USPS Priority Mail box.

Looking at the picture I wonder if you could swap the very left piece with the narrow section on left side of the blade.
obviously if you did this that miter express would not be as wide but you might be able to use it.
if you don't understand what I'm taking about I'll try to upload a picture later.


I remember seeing these listed years ago but never looked into getting one.
Now the INCRA router lift was to nice for me to pass up though 8-9 years ago.
they make really nice tools. Just wish they weren't so costly so I could have more of them.

I think I know what you are saying to do. I don't think I would want to do that. But I did try
reversing the pieces to put the drop off board on the left and the sled on the right. It could
be used that way but there is a gap on both sides of the blade of about a half inch.

I'd rather sell it as I have a couple sleds now for the Unisaw and I don't really have room for
anything more.

I am trying to whittle down the tool collection in the shop and make room for a small (2'x4') CNC.
I am debating selling my RAS which would open up a bunch of space but I like having it for cutting
dados. I leave a dado set mounted and sized for 3/4" plywood. This works great for cutting dados
in bookshelves and for cutting half laps. I have dust collection run to the RAS so it's as clean as it
can be for what it is. And I got all the free upgrades a few years back from the RAS Recall campaign
so it is much safer to use. I even got a new 1" thick MDF table top as part of the upgrade kit.

Sorry it's taken me a week to actually get back on here.
The two pieces I've drawn the arrows on are what I try swapping if you were wanting to try to keep it and use it on your current table saw.
I do understand why you would prefer selling it as is to someone that could use it instead though. hope you can come across the right person that wants it.

Good luck on setting up a CNC, I really think that if you have room and the desire to learn to use it you will truly enjoy having it.
a 2x4 or 4x4 CNC has been on my wish list for many years however don't have the space to allocate for it. So I picked up a 3d printer instead to play around with as it has a much smaller footprint.

Thanks for your thoughts. I do want to sell it as I don't believe I can get to zero clearance even by swapping pieces around. That to me would defeat the whole purpose of the sled and offcut board.

I think my best bet is to list it on eBay. I can't believe just the sled without a miter gauge currently sells for upwards of $150. I don't remember what it costs 11 years ago, and I am fairly sure the wife bought it for me as a birthday gift. I do have a couple old Woodcraft catalogs so I could look it up if it's in there.
