  • TS-3650 "New" in unopened box

Hello all. I just joined this forum after finding and buying a TS-3650 in unopened boxes. I drove 3 hours to the seller and we were able to get it in the back of my Kia Soul. I don't have lifting help at home so I may have to unbox it in the car and take it out a piece at a time. However, it would be cool to get it out of the car and do a proper unboxing video.

If anyone is interested, I can share more pictures as I get them.

Congratulations. You have a great saw, be very careful assembling it. You should have many years of enjoyment with your new saw.

Yeah, after over 15 years since this saw went out of production I bet replacement parts are scarce, so don't break anything putting it together.

If you haven't already I suggest you review the TS-3650 Assembly Tips sticky thread before you begin assembling your saw. Might save you a few headaches and assembly go quicker.

Collectively there's a lot of brainpower (and boo-boos) put into words. Learn from our mistakes and successes.

So, what gives. Did you put it together yet or you gonna leave it in the box like the last guy for 16 years. :-)

I would never buy new, unopened box ! Open it up, or keep it !

I would buy an unopened box, but I wouldn't leave it that way for long.

I bought an unopened Ridgid Radial Arm Saw. It was very exciting opening a 10 year old saw. I haven't finished assembling it yet, just a fence is left.

Fence? What fence? My RAS (Craftsman not RIDGID but they both came from Emerson) has only a short board for a fence, and it was supplied as part of the saw I didn't have to make anything.

Yeah but the piece of wood they included was a bad piece of #2 pine that was severely twisted. I want to take a couple of pieces of multi layered 3/4" ply and laminate them together. I moved to Harrisburg, Pa in 2019 and packed my shop into storage. I just moved back and have finally brought everything back. Now, I need to unpack again.
