  • 2" saw dust collection system

A year or two ago, I purchased a ridgid 2" dust collection system at Home Depot. I would like to add to that but can not find it at our local store. Do you know where I might go to purchase one.

I'm not sure but Ridgid may not offer that any more, I have not seen them in the stores for about a year. I would think that most of the other systems in that size would be interchangeable and you could mix pieces from different vendors, they're all probably made by only two or three different manufacturers anyways with private labels on them.

Check Woodcraft, Rockler, Woodline, Woodpecker, Amazon Tool Crib, probably even Sears will all have this stuff.

For single tool occasional use or on location (jobsite) this type system can handle some dust control, but is not efficient enough to get it all. Plus, shop vacs are so noisy compared to a Dust Collector.

This our fathers did for us."

Is this a dust collector or a shop vac? Got a model # or size?

Lorax, I think he is referring to the piping system of fittings and 2-1/4" pipe and some hose that Ridgid sold, its not a shop vac or DC.
