  • TS3650 blade clearance

I recently purchased the TS3650. During setup I had to align the blade. There is supposed to be a minimum of 1/8 inch clearance between the blade and the insert, but I have barely that and no adjustment of the front trunion I can make will increase the clearance. There appears to be enough play in the blade that it could clip the side of the insert on a 45 degree cut. Are there any other adjustments I can make to increase the blade clearance?

Have you tried loosening all 6 (I think it's 6) trunnion bolts and sliding the whole thing over?

I eventually managed to solve the problem by releasing the bevel lock. With that released and the six trunion bolts loosened I was able to get just over 1/8 inch clearance. Thanks.
