  • TS3650 - aftermarket miter gauges

Anyone using an aftermarket miter guage/fence for the TS3650? I am interested in finding a better solution than the stock gauge, and would love to hear what you have tried that you either liked or disliked, and why.

    TS3650 - aftermarket miter gauges

I use the incra miter5000 sled. It is a miter gauge plus a cross cut sled. It is expensive at around $250, but Incra makes just miter gauges like the Miter 1000SE that is somewhere around $120.

All of you please say this with me:

"Dear *insert deity of choice here* please let me get that job I interviewed for so I can purchase these fine Incra products and thereby maintain my sanity when working with angle cuts on the table saw. Ahmen."

I put it all back together better than before. There\'s lots of leftover parts.

I sure do like that 1000SE...that is one purdy piece of work!!! Combine that with the 5000, and I think it'd be the champ! Every time I'm at Woodcraft I find myself caressing the 1000SE.... maybe I need help. Professional help.

Thanks for your responses, everyone. The Incra looks interesting. I'll have to look for it next time I go to Woodcraft.

                    Anyone tried the Osborne EB-3?

Hi Selph - My Osborne EB-3 was not accurate when angled, and I found Osbourne's CS not all that cooperative. It took nearly a year and several notes and calls to finally get the issue resolved...an issue I read of others having. The EB-3 is fairly complex compared to some ithers. In the meantime I bought an Incra V27 and added a fence too it, and actually like it better....much simpler to use.

If you're looking to spend the money for an EB-3. I'd seriously consider a Woodhaven. I have hands on experience with it, though not mine, and find it to be incredibly well built and accurate. I'd consider an Incra 1000SE too.
