well i think a dado blade would help me out and im not sure if i have a old arbor or a new one( i think i have a old one ) so what would be a good choice of dado set to buy?

Nothing wrong with the Freud SD206 either if you don't plan on making deep dados. I currently run an 8" stacked dado set on my TS and have never come close to utilizing its full depth potential.
For many, a 6" stacked dado set will take of any dado needs they'll ever run across. They're also less expensive than the 8" sets and lighter in weight which is said to be less stressful on the Ts's motor. $.02.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the "John" and renamed it the "Jim". I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
