    If you are still looking.

Try this for a deal. 1) call every HD you can drive to and have them check inventory on a TS3612 Tablesaw for $194. Sku 306-360. If you get a bite go get it. 2) assuming there are no leads then drive to each an visually search every shelf unit high and low in the stores to make sure they don't have one lost and forgotten.

A TS3612 Tablesaw for $194 would be a great deal.

Understand the chances of this happening is slim and none and slim has a ticket out of town but.... I think it is worth the homework to try.

I was lucky enough to find a Ridgid TS2424 for $194 recently as part of the HD closeout sale. It was labeled with the TS3612 SKU, but was actually a brand new, 3-year old TS2424 just collecting dust.

I was looking for any of the grey Ridgid closeout items I could find and asked the tool department manager if they had any more of the grey bandsaws. He said no, but a helper overheard us and reminded him of an old saw high up in the racks thinking it was a bandsaw. The manager took me there, but it turned out to be the TS2424 instead of a bandsaw. I grabbed it plus a jointer ($150), lathe ($77), and several Hercu-lifts ($44 each).

You can call, but as RixWorx said you really have to go there and look for yourself. There are several very good posts on the Woodnet board about the Ridgid closeouts, if you haven't seen them yet. http://www.forums.woodnet.net

The table saws are rare and I have only heard of one other person find one, but you might get lucky. You might also find some other good closeout buys. Basically, HD has been selling off the old Ridgid products for 1/3 of the original price.

      Good luck.

You absolutely must not call, just go. Their inventory on computer is not accurate. A HD near me has 2 3612s about 100 yds from the tool corral and their inventory shows 0. I would love a $77 lathe, can't fing one.

Picking up a 3612 on the cheap would be sweet!
