whatever became of the Ridgid/robo hammer?
It had a unique design and they even had a left handed version. I thought it was the direction of new hammer design.
OK, what is a left handed hammer you ask [or as some say "AXE", I'll axe you a question]???
A left handed hammer has a grip design for a left handed user. There is a subtle difference between a right handed grip VS a left handed grip.
Most hammers attempt to design a reasonable grip for either hand, but believe me, there is a difference.
I can't even find this hammer on the tool sites or e-bay.
Any owners of this hammer? I'd appreciate a user review.
I think Applied concepts made this for Ridgid but they only have the plier line on their website.
I have the left handed version on one of my desks here even though I am right handed. It has been discontinued for quite a while. A nice hammer design overall though.
