Great Link for a Construction Owner/Tradesmen, and just say Garager sent you....
A good climbing rope will last you 3 to 5 years, a bad climbing rope will last you a life time !!!
It sat on the Ridgid 300 then they had the "whole thing" that you clamped to the pipe and one bored a hole in the stand pipe then use the victallic saddle to install the 21/2" stand pipe hose connection. Saved a lot of couplings and fittings
The Ridgid roller grover was great on schedule 40 and schedule 80 piping.
Setting it took a little patience as how deep the groove would go.
sort of like the Go NO go tool made for Pyrex piping when you rolled your own beads for the coupling to attach to.
dog, i've done vic. copper and it was great on large pipe. now with propress up to 4'', i havn't used the vic. tool in years.
also vic. is not approved for underground. propress is
but i have been pondering the idea of re-engineering it. and today i spoke to my buddy that can design and make anything. we are going to rework the product i'm referring to and make it a super burnisher. non cutting reamer, copper displacement tool.
the one i will re -design will be a hand held tool for 1/2'' - 2''. this being the most common size of piping. 2.5''-6'' will be a totally different tool.
how does the plumber rick/ ridgid reamer sound

Here is a link to a chipless copper reamer. I'm not sure if this is what Rick is using or not.
