See Snake In my weeping tile
While redoing a basement floor I came across old clay weeping tiles full of 40yr old sand. I cleaned them out and was able to get them flowing again under the basement. I verified this by watching the water run to the sand trap cleanout that hooks directly to the sewer line.
Anyhow, when I replaced the broken out clay tile with PVC and added a cleanout so that I could clean these lines out in the future.
However, I have about 4 six ft to go in-oder to get to the outside tile. I would like to see if the tile is open or closed with sand.
Would the seesnake help before I have a the plumber come in for 700$ and dig outside for a cleanout?
