Covering a cold room window?
I have a small window in the cold room under the front porch. It has a metal frame around it which frosts over in the winter. I'd like to convert the room into storage and insulate it. What do I have to do to account for the water that will come from the frost? I'm guessing I can't just insulate over it, can I? It's not a tremendous amount of frost but it would lead to water behind the insulation, leading to ... bad things, I'm guessing.
Taking the metal frame out and bricking up the window is a little beyond my abilities at the moment, even though the window is only 7"x28". It's an openable window which leaks air like a seive.
