I happened to be in the head office yesterday when they were looking at installing an axillary A/C unit for the server room and looked at where they planned on running the water drain. It's hard to believe this was done by pro's. They want to splice the 1/2" A/C drain (same corrugated plastic material as the D/W drain) into the 3/4" dishwasher drain. What should we request, tear out the brass/copper splice and replace with ABS from the sink to beyond the trap and splice back to the brass drain? Would you put in two dish washer tees?
The A/C unit will be in the room behind the kitchen so the A/C drain hose can come through the wall and gravity feed into the drain.
Here is the pick, sorry only had the cell phone with me.
