I currently have a Ridgid 2.5gal aluminum compressor, however after a trip to my local HD my eyes drifted to a Ridgid Mobile Air unit.
I noticed that my Aluminum unit is rated at 13.5amp 1.9scfm@90 while the Mobile Air is rated at 9.6amp 2.3scfm@90. I thought that the higher the amps the more true HP a unit has, thus more output power. Both units are 2.5gal
I currently run a Hitachi 18g and Grex 23g pinner off my aluminum unit.
I was wondering if I should get rid of my current compressor and opt for the mobile air unit or stick to what I have.
