Impact driver r86030 question
Recently made the switch from craftsman to the ridgid fuego drill, impact, and recip saw. Love it.
My only issue is: the impact driver led wont come on till i have the trigger 1/4 pushed in (most lights on drills in my exp will come on when you slightly push the button, before it starts drilling).
Also, the impactor is either full speed or off, not variable at all. Guy at home depot told me thats normal. I find it inconveniant on anything other than sheet metal screws.
Thanks for any help.
Re: Impact driver r86030 question
I'm not familiar with the fuego name but the lights on most of the Ridgid drills wont come on till you depress the triggers part way. Most are variable speed. On your ratings label it will list the RPMs if it says VSR or lists a speed like 0-450/0-1600 it should be variable speed.
