Whirlfool charges $95.10 for a 10x11-5/8s-inch grea$e filter.
These Whirlfool filters have a small knob which turns a pawl 90 degrees into slot which holds the filter in place.
I told the woman thathey appear very poorly engineered withe pawls too thin (about 1mm thick) and they appear to be made of pot metal.
Cleaning the filters,he broke a pawl.
Fortunately, I found a way that she can insertwo small Allen wrenches (L) through the filter and push the long ends coming outhe opening where the pawl was and inserting into the bracket slot.
Why so much for these Whirlfool grea$e filter$?
I'd take an educated guess - but I'm unqualified.
It ain't just soot, it's paydirt.
