I recently purchased a see-snake plus used. Approximetely eight feet back from the camera head I found a chunk of push rod 1/4" x 1/4" missing exposing the kevlar underneath. The plumber I purchased it from said it has not been used for a year so it should be dry.
Can I fill the missing sheath with a plastic epoxy of some kind? Or maybe wrap it in compression tape?
Is there a fix out there that people have had success with?
I would just get a reterm but have no idea where to get it done. I'm located in Vernon, BC. I'm assuming the closest would be in Vancouver BC. I really want to put this camera to work as soon as possible.
Any ideas or thoughts?
