I found the issue,,, The casting is bad and they are filing the depth stop screw housing to get the range they want. It's just this one wasn't filed enough....3 Photos

I just picked the 7?" 18v miter saw today for the 199$ price. I tried it out and it doesn't cut all the way through the 2x4, it doesn't go back far...

outrageous prices Wow the Makita 18voltx2 is 640$ at wood craft. My local HD has been out of these and I hope they come in soon. I really need one....

No more lifetime on the batterys???
I was at the HD today and was told that the battery tools no longer have the lifetime on the batterys?? Will my old batterys still be covered?? Anybody...
